Review For Saving Bobby

Saving Bobby by Crystal Cattabriga

“Even though we can’t see God, He is with us. I know sometimes it can be frustrating, wondering why things have to happen in our lives that we just don’t understand. God doesn’t give us anything we can’t handle. Just give everything to God, Bobby, and He will take care of it; but you must believe and trust in Him.”

Saving Bobby is one of those stories that truly touches your heart. It makes you want to believe that there is a God out there looking out for us and just re-enforces the belief that miracles do happen.
Saving Bobby is a story of a young boy dealing with the hard fact that he just might loose his mother to cancer. The story follows his journey as he goes off on his own finding a way to save his mother and in turn finding God. The relations between all the characters described is just plain beautiful and brings a smile to your face.
A truly beautifully described story.. An amazing read...

Review for Northwest

Northwest by JH Glaze

“Well, Frank, you can add this one to the list of ‘no fuckin’ way can we say what really happened....”

Northwest follows the adventures of Detective John Hazard as he continues on his paranormal quest. This is the second book in the series and is just as amazing as its predecessor maybe even better! I couldn’t stop reading this one its amazing, thrilling, a little scary and just makes you sit on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens...
In this book the Detective changes his career path and turns to take a course in Paranormal Investigation. They head into the forests of Northwest hoping to find some paranormal activity only to be deceived! They are faced with creatures far more deadlier than what they were looking for.. Will they survive? Will they make it through?  Read on to find out!!
I’d just add one teeny little thing Mr. Glaze’s books have me hooked! He’s been writing on all my favourite things – Paranormal, Mystery, and with this one Aliens!! Can’t wait till the next one!! He's now one of my favourite authors out there and this is definitely turning out to be one of my favourite series!! :D

Review for Oceans of Red: Volume One

Oceans Of Red Volume One – Willow Cross
Still breathing heavy, Greg watched his sister. “So much for no kill order. I’m pretty sure we weren’t supposed to bring grenades.”
Flashing him a smile, she answered, “Well there was definitely a don’t get killed order. I had to compromise.”

Oceans of Red is one of the fresh new takes on what would happen after the dreaded 21st December 2012 apocalypse scene. I loved how she ties together different paranormal scenes and still it somehow seems like it was meant to go together in the same story. The story is captivating and makes you want to flip the pages faster and see what happens next. The author just describes everything with such simplicity and detail that I could actually imagine the scenes in front of me. The characters are amazing! And the different point of views lets us see things differently. This book makes you have a double take and wonder if that’s what would actually happen during the apocalypse...
Well let’s just say I’ve found a new favorite author! I loved the way she describes everything in the book. And I can’t wait to read more from her!! :D

Review for Energy: The Awakening

The Energy Chronicles: Book I
Energy: The Awakening – MJ Schuette

“Joel, what are marbles? That fellow seems to think I’ve lost mine but I’m sure I’ve never even had any....”

Energy: The Awakening is the first book in The Energy Chronicles. It keeps us on the edge, hooked and looking forward to turning the page to see what happens next. Fast – paced, beautifully described and absolutely delightful!! The lead characters are thrown into so many difficult situations but they always seem to find their way back to each other.. This book opens up a whole new world for us to explore.. The concept of Energy is intriguing and makes us want to read more and learn more. The characters are absolutely lovable and we can relate to them and the situations they are in...
This book is by far one of my favorites. It made me smile while reading! So its pretty amazing... The characters are so different and unique but I have to say Mischief is my favorite!! I thought about him so much that I had a dream about him!! :P Also I did a course on Pranic Healing which made me feel a little like Brighton.. *Smug Smile*
A beautiful story that does make you smile... I’d recommend this one to all!

Happy Mother's Day!! :D

“Most mothers are instinctive philosophers.”
~ Harriet Beecher Stowe
I think this every one would agree to... All mothers seem to always have answers to all of our questions and problems. They always know exactly what to say and how to make us feel better. Their kind words of advice and comforting embrace makes everything bearable. We never even have to ask for anything... A mother always knows...
“A mother is not a person to lean on, but a person to make leaning unnecessary.”
~Dorothy Canfield Fisher
Our moms work non stop, day and night doing all the work around the house, running errands, and some even work! They do everything to make our lives easier and help us in everyway they can.
I for one would always argue and fight with mom. But no matter what I’ll love her forever because she is the one who’ll never stop believing in me, who’ll support my crazy ideas, go with me to the movies (Even when it’s something silly or some movie she doesn’t really wanna see!), hear my bad singing (Even if sometimes I do that to annoy her ;) :P ), listen to me rant patiently like a saint, fight with me like a sibling and love me unconditionally! My mommy is everything rolled into one neat package and I’m sure everyone else does feel the same way!

Moms are just amazing and there is no comparing to anything else the love that a mother has. She loves us from the moment we were born till the day we’re no more.. Maybe even after...
So on Mother’s Day today I think all the Moms deserve a dedication. Pamper her! Get her gifts! Better yet make her something she’d cherish forever! Tell her you love her! Give her a hug! Make her feel loved because she deserves it.. She deserves the best and nothing less!! :D
I love you mommy! Happy Mother’s Day!! <3
And Happy Mother’s Day to all them Mommies out there!! <3

Till Later! Spread the love to them moms!

Review for God Blessed The Broken Road Book One - Mariza

God Blessed The Broken Road Book One- Mariza
by Crystal Cattabriga

"Faith is, believing in something we can’t see, something greater than us. It’s something we somehow learn to put all our trust in."

"The night I saw my sister one last time, I truly believe she was showing me that God was giving me a second chance at life. One would say That God Blessed the Broken Road…."

I’ve always wanted a brother, someone to fight with, someone to look up to and someone who would take care of me and not judge me. God Blessed The Broken Road is one of the most beautiful stories I’ve read. It describes the brother – sister relationship between David and Mariza in a beautiful way. The connection they have, the problems they face are relatable to everyone out there. Though a bit sad, its an amazing read! It keeps you on the edge thinking what would happen next... It makes you want to re-think about life and if there might be a higher purpose for us after all....
This book is about faith, second chances, letting go and finding your true purpose.. Amazing, Inspirational and Emotional...
Must read!!

Review for The Spirit Box

The Spirit Box by JH Glaze

"Years before this fateful day, servants of the king had constructed the Spirit Box of dark clay, sacrificial blood, and ash. The facial features of Torakel had been carved into the front of the box just as the legend had instructed. The likeness to the living ruler was remarkable and haunting. So lifelike in fact was the face of the king on the box, that when an observer moved within the room where it sat displayed upon a specially carved table, it’s lifeless eyes seemed to follow."

Paranormal and Thrillers have always been my favorite genre! The Spirit Box was such an amazing read ‘coz it combined both of my favorite genres and made it into an amazing, un-put-downable story! I couldn’t wait to get back home and read what would happen next. It had the most unexpected twists and kept me hooked till the end... The characters seemed realistic and somehow relatable. The detailed descriptions of the scenes and the places were just amazing. It was like I could actually imagine it..
The prologue itself draws you in, making you want to read and know what happens next. It’s a well paced novel which combines mystery, humor and the paranormal... I’d definitely recommend this book. It’s a must read!!
And oh don’t look inside the box! ;)

The Spirit Box is the first book in the series of “The Paranormal Adventures of John Hazard”. The sequels Northwest is already out and Send No Angel is to be out soon!
I’m definitely looking forward to reading more from this author!!

Its okay to be yourself....

I know I've been MIA for quite a while.. But sometimes you just need a time out..
I just was getting way over my head with some things and needed time to just sort myself out... Sometimes you just need to get yourself a little space and just think things through. It definitely helps to have friends talk you through it...
I've just come to terms with certain things and found some new things about myself...
I'll be trying to post at least weekly if nothing big at least a book review! :P
A teeny bit what I just re- realized! ;)
Sometimes you just got to pick yourself up and dust yourself off.. Don't absolutely don't let anyone's perception of you get in the way of what you feel is right and what you feel about yourself.. Because there's no one who know's you better than you.... (Well maybe your moms :P ;) )
Peace out lovelies! Till later...
